As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and management of anticoagulation therapy in our UnityPoint Cardiology Anticoagulation Therapy (CAT) Specialty Clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients enrolled in the CAT Specialty Clinic
  • Prescribe and manage anticoagulant medication
  • Assess bleeding and clotting risk using bleeding risk score tools
  • Collaborate with hospital and ambulatory providers
  • Provide education and support to patients and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner with board certification
  • 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred
  • Certificate of completion of online Anticoagulation Therapy Management within 6 months from date of hire
  • Unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • ACLS required
