As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with pharmacy practices and procedures
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification
