Job Summary

Health Advocates Network - Midwest is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel professional in a critical care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as a Respiratory Therapist in an intensive care unit environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
  • 1 year of experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
  • Current licensure in the applicable state (IL).
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
