Caregiver for Elderly

We are seeking a caring and reliable Caregiver for Elderly to join our team at Village Caregiving - Toledo. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to seniors in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Salary: $22-$32 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Caregiver for Elderly will assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also prepare healthy meals and snacks, manage medications, and provide companionship and social interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks according to clients' dietary needs
• Manage clients' medications and maintain accurate records
• Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging clients in activities and hobbies
• Report any unusual incidents or changes to our nursing staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• CPR certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• High school diploma or equivalent
