Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Winzer Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and engage with customers, answer questions, and provide assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Suggest products, demonstrate outstanding sales skills, and maintain a high level of product knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize the selling floor and stock areas.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments, including totaling purchases, operating cash registers, and processing checks, cash, and credit cards.
  • Customer Refunds: Handle customer refunds courteously and professionally.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Branch Manager with administrative and operational duties related to branch operations.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial industry with some knowledge of products sold.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; excellent customer service skills; ability to gather information and make decisions; prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills; relationship management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to efficiently use a personal computer with a standard keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to communicate in English to locate, read, and report information.
  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Lift, lower, and carry products up to 50 lbs.
  • Warehouse environment – work in hot/cold temperatures through the seasons.
