Job Description:
A Shop of Things is a Women-Owned business based in Nashville, TN. We create women's accessories, home goods, trinkets, and other fun items.
The Inventory and Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in organizing and tracking inventory digitally. This person serves as a liaison between the company and our Third-Party Logistics warehouse to ensure seamless processes. They are also trained in Wholesale Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with 3PL regarding inventory additions, discrepancies, and expected order volume.
  • Create SKUs and item listings for all products on Shopify.
  • Record Cost of Goods for all inventory.
  • Perform weekly audits and reports on the website.
  • Coordinate inventory drop-off and pick-up from the 3PL.
  • Generate weekly inventory reports.
  • Maintain inventory spreadsheets.

Logistics Management:
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders for incoming shipments according to company standards.
  • Inform the 3PL of all incoming shipments.
  • Schedule deliveries using 3PL scheduling software.
  • Manage order movement within our order management platform.

Wholesale Management:
  • Check wholesale platforms daily for new orders.
  • Respond to customer messages daily.
  • Approve orders and assign Ship by Date daily.
  • Manage invoices, payments, and shipping information for all orders.
  • Update wholesale product listings and catalogs.
  • Add new products to online catalogs weekly.
