Position: Packaging Specialist

Location: Menomonie, Wisconsin

Employment Type: Full-Time

Employment Term: Temp to Hire or Seasonal

Work Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm) (Please note that work hours may be adjusted based on operational needs.)

Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Requirements: Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred

As a Packaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the production process, which includes the manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of various products. Some team members may take on supervisory responsibilities to ensure efficient operations. You will also be responsible for conducting quality checks and maintaining production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently package and store products
  • Label products and manage inventory of labels and packaging supplies
  • Organize supplies and set up labeling machines for different products
  • Perform quality assurance checks
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English
  • Familiarity with the metric system and conversions
  • Strong attendance and punctuality record
