Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-acuity infant care in a home setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for high-acuity infants
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, and family members on patient concerns and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
