Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will be an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art facility. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the management and treatment of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine procedures on patients, including:
    • Insertion of peripheral intravenous lines.
    • Collection of blood samples through venipuncture and central lines.
    • Hemodynamic monitoring and assessment.
    • Immediate response to cardiac events, including performing 12 lead EKGs.
    • Assisting in the management of patients requiring external pacing and intra-aortic balloon pump setups.
  • Provide coverage for the dialysis center as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited program in Intensive Care or Cath Lab Nursing.
  • Certification in Moderate Sedation or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in critical care settings.
  • Current nursing license in at least one U.S. state or territory.
  • Preferred certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
