Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients and healthcare teams to develop personalized treatment plans, promoting recovery and independence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs and create effective treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy services to patients, including exercises and modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans and ensure smooth transitions for patients.

Certifications and Requirements:

  • Physical Therapist licensure in North Dakota.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment:

The Physical Therapist will work in a dynamic hospital environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40.58 - $61.39 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Altru Health provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Driving Requirement:

Occasional driving may be required for this role, with valid transportation provided by the company.
