We are seeking a highly skilled PACS Specialist to join our Imaging department at Pali Momi Medical Center in Aiea, HI.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide PACS support functions, maintain the PACS database, and perform end-user training and problem identification. Additionally, they will assist with application testing and installation of PACS-related hardware and provide imaging assistant coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide PACS support functions for the Imaging department
  • Maintain the PACS database and perform end-user training and problem identification
  • Assist with application testing and installation of PACS-related hardware
  • Provide imaging assistant coverage as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field
  • Two (2) years of imaging assistant or related experience
  • Experience with Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Computed radiography (CR), and/or Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • General knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards
