Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and medication administration
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and data entry
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1)
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience
  • Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Assisting certification
  • Successful completion of a Cleveland Clinic externship
Physical Requirements:

This role requires manual dexterity to operate office equipment, may require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting, and good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.

This is a Light Work role, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
