Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and patrons in our swimming areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers as needed.
  • Maintain the swimming pool, deck, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining of the restrooms, showers, and locker rooms.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of aquatic safety and rescue techniques. You should also be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and patrons.
