Job Title: Production Lead

Job Summary:

As a key member of our team at Jerry's Enterprises Inc., the Production Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Production Department. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective daily and weekly work plans to meet labor and production goals
  • Supervise and train Production Department associates to ensure efficient labor utilization and effectiveness in meeting department objectives
  • Manage department receiving, invoicing, shrink control, and inventory to ensure proper product control and gross profit goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation programs, including training and coaching associates on equipment use, maintenance, and sanitation standards
  • Perform personnel functions, including answering phone calls, conducting performance reviews, and recommending corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze sales and labor projections and make informed decisions
  • Experience in a production or operations role, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of SQF standards and company policies
