Medical Director for Orthopedic Surgeons in Hudson River Valley

We are seeking a Medical Director to lead our team of orthopedic surgeons in the Hudson River Valley. This is an exciting opportunity to join a physician-owned and operated medical group with over 600 physicians across 40 locations.
Job SummaryThe Medical Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our orthopedic surgery department. They will work closely with our clinical teams to develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of care.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs
- Collaborate with our clinical teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
- Provide guidance and support to our staff on clinical matters
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in orthopedic surgery and leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
