Job Summary

The Custodian II - Indian Lodge is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our state park's lodge and surrounding areas. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and storage spaces
  • Perform laundry duties as assigned
  • Monitor and maintain grounds for litter control
  • Prepare the lodge for seasonal holidays and special events
  • Monitor and maintain inventory to ensure adequate supplies
  • Assist with facilities and grounds maintenance duties
Requirements
  • Completion of 8th grade
  • Six months experience in general cleaning, housekeeping, or custodial work
  • Valid State driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from High School or GED
Working Conditions
  • Work in a public hotel-type facility
  • 40 hours per week, including various schedules and days off
  • Adjust to changing schedules
  • Work overtime as necessary
  • Perform manual labor, including lifting supplies and materials up to 50 lbs.
