Medical Assistant Dermatology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Dermatology Specialist to join our team at the Dermatology Skin and Cancer Institute.

This is a unique opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a dermatology setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our physicians and nursing personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel
  • Deliver quality customer service and maintain established quality control standards
  • Show patients to exam rooms according to company standards
  • Record patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies
  • Process appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience in a dermatology office with back office experience preferred but not required
  • 3+ year experience in any other specialty as a medical assistant
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
