RN - Medical Nursing - Full Time Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
