Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow Position

Tulane University is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic (EPIC-NOLA) team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a child psychologist and the Medical Director at EPIC-NOLA to assess clinical high-risk referrals for attenuated psychosis syndrome (APS) and provide psychotherapy and supportive services to patients who meet criteria for APS.
Responsibilities- Assess clinical high-risk referrals for APS using structured assessments
- Provide psychotherapy and supportive services to patients who meet criteria for APS
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to collect and analyze data and publish research findings
- Completion of PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology at an APA-accredited program
- Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology
- Strong clinical interest in psychosis or severe mental illness
- Strong analytic and writing skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary clinical settings
- Previous experience with qualitative research methods
- Experience as an author of peer-reviewed literature in the field of mental health
- Working familiarity with a statistical package
- Previous experience in an early psychosis treatment program
