Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing effective treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote patient rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient care data in accordance with department policies and standards of practice
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
  • Conduct daily assessments and progress reports, communicating with interdisciplinary teams and patients
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems on therapeutic activities, ADLs/IADLs, and community reintegration
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with current certification
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in relevant states (NY, NJ)
  • Valid CPR license
  • Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and excellent communication skills
