About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team at Janus Henderson. As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and impactful proposals that accurately message our firm and product capabilities and competitive advantages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI)/Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) process in its entirety, serving as writer, project manager and search/tender proponent
  • Build and maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts across the firm to facilitate positive relationships during the proposal development process
  • Regularly interact with Sales personnel to coordinate and implement strategy in completing RFPs on products offered by Janus Henderson and its subsidiaries
  • Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3 years writing experience for grants or proposals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferably in Finance, English, Journalism or Communications
  • Solid understanding of and previous experience in the institutional investment management business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and cloud-based collaboration tools (ex Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead complex projects to successful completion
  • Previous content management system experience (ex. Qvidian)
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills, attention to detail, and accuracy

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.
