About the RoleThe University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and performing nursing care for patients in an assigned area. They will make nursing decisions based on critical thinking and knowledge of best practices, supervise and delegate patient care through auxiliary personnel as appropriate.Key Responsibilities:
- Affecting patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
- Developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
- Providing education to patients and their families.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience. One year of experience as a practicing nurse. Familiarity with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) requirements. Critical thinking ability and knowledge of best practices. Ability to use an electronic health record. Excellent communication skills. Accuracy in following written and verbal instructions. Working in clinical facilities.-
