Job Summary

Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Relief Customer Service Representative Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products, and promoting overall route growth to enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Company Vehicle: Safely operate a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to a variety of clients.
  • Verify Daily Preventative Maintenance: Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage Daily Route: Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load/Unload Product: Load and unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review Invoices: Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop Leads/Prospects: Develop leads/prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Assist Sales Organization: Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  • Communicate with Customers: Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor Customer Feedback: Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ensure Personal Safety: Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
Requirements
  • Age and Driver's License: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Selling Experience: Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment and Safety Requirements
  • Working Conditions: Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical location.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Fast-paced environment sometimes requiring irregular and long hours.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.
  • Occasional Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
