About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate individual to join our team as an After School Sports Program Facilitator. The successful candidate will have a background in sports and a passion for physical activity. They will be responsible for managing groups of up to 20 students, leading activities, and ensuring a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sports activities for basketball, soccer, and kickball
  • Manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance
  • Connect with students and foster positive learning experiences
  • Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly
  • Ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Clearly instruct students and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Complete and pass a Live-Scan background check and TB screening
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to engage in physical activity and move safely on irregular terrain
