Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at ExpertHiring. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex clinical testing and maintain strict safety and infection control techniques.
  • Develop and endorse customer service standards in relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities and actively seek ways to control costs without compromising patient safety or quality of care.
  • Follow established guidelines for reporting significant medical errors or unanticipated outcomes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Laboratory Information System and complete all mandatory education requirements.
  • Use Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety and ensure regular punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Ensure orientation of new staff and assume authority, accountability, and responsibility.
  • Participate in cross-organizational activities and formulate, review, and/or revise departmental policies.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) with a Bachelor's Degree and Florida Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
