Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient care needs in the emergency department, providing timely and effective interventions as needed.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate updates, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education, offering emotional support and guidance during emergencies and critical situations.
- Assist with critical procedures such as resuscitation and trauma stabilization, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a current valid North Carolina nursing license.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
