Job Summary:

BrightStar Care of Springfield/Decatur is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a home health or infusion environment.
  • Home infusion experience and/or experience with neuro clinical trials is a plus.
  • Physical and TB screening within the last 30 days.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
  • Clean background and criminal record.
