Wireless Tower Foreman

As a Tower Foreman at Professional Teleconcepts, you will play a crucial role in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communications towers and support structures. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from installing new equipment to repairing existing systems.

• Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment
• Perform tower maintenance under close supervision
• Complete required Pro-Tel and customer daily reports
• Lead and document the daily job task safety analysis (JTSA)
• Ability to successfully perform sweep, PIM, and OTDR testing
• Complete PPE Inspection
• Ability to follow assembly instructions, proper tool use, donning of harness, climbing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and use the information contained
• Complete setup of a capstan hoist, hoisting operations using different rigging configurations
• Use and care of hand tools
• Respect the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment
• The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load
• Analyzing situations accurately and adopting an appropriate course of action
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Recognize safety hazards, perform Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA), and perform duties in a safe manner
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• 3+ years of industry experience and previous tower climbing experience
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Requires travel and overnight stays for extended periods of time

• Work environment
  • Work outside in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and climate weather
  • May be required to work day, evening, or night hours and overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments for extended periods of time
  • May be required to attend training to acquire mandatory certifications
  Physical demands
