Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health, working in collaboration with Travel Nurse Source. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the PositionThe Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse will work as part of the surgical services and operating room teams, treating open-heart patients. This role requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail, ensuring the safe and effective care of patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical status upon admission and throughout their treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for assigned patients.
- Assist in the sedation of patients and collaborate with physicians during procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Ensure sterile procedures are followed throughout surgery, and necessary equipment and medications are available for the operating room team.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, with current licensure in good standing.
- Evidence of current AHA BLS and ACLS preferred, not required.
- Evidence of current one year of CVOR experience.
