Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our human resources function at Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ. As an HR Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Assist in the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Performance Management: Support the development and implementation of performance management processes, including performance evaluations and goal setting.
  • Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • HR Filing and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files and benefits information.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and analyze HR-related reports and data to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
