Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing expert services in the management and optimization of Citrix NetScaler appliances. This role involves:

  • Administering load balancing technologies, ensuring optimal performance through various algorithms and health checks.
  • Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting NetScaler appliances, ensuring seamless interaction with the overall network infrastructure.
  • Supporting NetScaler appliances that facilitate both intranet and internet applications.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network issues related to TCP/IP, enhancing the performance of applications routed through the NetScaler.
  • Engaging in the identification and resolution of response time issues for applications utilizing the NetScaler.
  • Collaborating with IT systems support personnel to document and discuss network issues effectively.
  • Working non-standard hours when necessary to perform maintenance activities without disrupting users.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience as a Citrix NetScaler engineer.
  • Proficiency in the administration of Citrix NetScaler load balancing appliances, including device upgrades and content switching.
  • Extensive knowledge of SSL certificate hosting, VIP configuration, responder policy configuration, and Access Gateway configurations.
  • Experience with reverse proxy, SSL VPN, and scripting related to NetScaler.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for web traffic issues and cluster management.
  • Familiarity with firewall rules, VLANs, and Virtual IP addresses.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and external partners.
