Welcome guests to Elliott's on Linden and The Sly Fox in a warm and friendly manner, taking them to their seats and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Manage the seating chart, monitor restaurant activity, and respond to guests' inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

• Set up the restaurant using the opening checklist provided
• Walk guests to their assigned tables, provide menus, and introduce their server
• Monitor reservation times, number of covers, and adjust as necessary by contacting guests
• Review cover count per server and track throughout the shift
• Confirm all reservations, especially large parties
• Listen and respond to voicemails
• Bus and reset tables as needed during service
• Communicate 86'd items to staff and update the specials board
• Have a thorough understanding of all menu items
• Run food to guests if needed
• Polish glassware and silverware during service and after the last reservation is seated
• Check bathrooms throughout the shift and clean if necessary
• Keep all candles clean and free of wax buildup
• Keep all plants watered
• Close the restaurant using the provided checklist

• Check reservations and assign tables
• Keep the phone with you at all times
• Organize and tidy up the host area and entrance
• Clean windows
• Ensure sufficient menus are available
• Clear the walkway and ensure it is free of debris
• Mop entryways
• Dust and perform a cobweb patrol
• Stay busy and proactive throughout the shift
