About M&K Truck Centers

M&K Truck Centers is a reputable dealership seeking an experienced Parts Director to lead our parts department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the daily operations of personnel engaged in receiving and distributing truck parts and supplies.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily operations of the parts department to ensure efficient and effective part distribution.
  • Coach and lead parts department employees to meet departmental objectives and provide technical assistance and training when needed.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and assess discipline when necessary.
  • Interview new candidates for positions and develop the parts department staff.
  • Maintain the special orders policy and monitor parts return timely to avoid obsolescence.
  • Enforce safety requirements, including forklift training and operation, and processing of GHS sheets on all products carried.
  • Verify sufficient security systems are in place and adhered to.
  • Confirm department employees' payroll records prior to submitting to the payroll department.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate with strong leadership and communication skills, with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a dealership environment with a thorough knowledge of all phases of an automotive or truck parts department. Computer skills using CDK Dealer Management system and various OEM inventory catalog systems are also required.

Work Environment:

The work environment at M&K Truck Centers is well-lit and provides plenty of room to work in the parts area. The environment may change dependent upon weather conditions, with exposure to indoor/outdoor loading zones and moderate noise levels. This role also involves working in an office environment that is temperature regulated.

Physical Demands:

This position requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), twisting, bending, standing, and use of both hands and arms.
