As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations, ensuring a balance between patient care and the efficient operation of the clinic. Your role will be pivotal in providing an exceptional service experience for patients.
Work Schedule
This role requires working three days a week at one clinic and two days at another location.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
- Collaborate with the Physician to clarify the treatment plan to patients, addressing their specific requirements.
- Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient appointments.
- Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
- Adhere to designated timeframes for each ultrasound procedure to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
- Coordinate with office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely patient care.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain high-quality work standards in accordance with company guidelines.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to ensure smooth operational functions.
- Execute additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is mandatory.
- Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is essential.
- Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities, effective prioritization skills, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
