Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled LPN to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. As a Cardiac Telemetry LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization care, CHF, arrhythmia, and blood pressure management.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of hire.
- 1+ year of experience as an LPN in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- LPN-IV Certification.
The Cardiac Telemetry unit is a 35-bed unit that provides care to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. The unit is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
