Neonatologist Director Opportunity

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist Director to lead our Small Baby Unit at Miller Children's and Women's Hospital in Long Beach, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and overseeing the daily operations of the unit.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide education and training to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
Requirements
- Board certification in Neonatology.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a neonatal unit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
