Automation Field Service Engineer III

We are seeking a skilled Automation Field Service Engineer III to join our team at Fronius USA, LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing automated welding equipment and computer systems. This role requires a strong background in electronic and electro-mechanical support and repair, as well as experience with machinery software operating systems and welding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automated welding equipment and computer systems
- Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Travel to customer sites and Fronius facilities to perform service and support activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical support and repair
- Strong knowledge of machinery software operating systems and welding processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
