  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspection reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of bridge inspection experience, specifically inspecting bridges for NYDOT.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Training in NHI two-week Bridge Inspector Training course and/or NHI Bridge Inspection Refresher course within the last 5 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, MicroStation, and CombIS (Bentley AssetWise).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bridge load rating experience.
  • Familiarity with LARS and/or AASHTOWare BrR.
  • Completion of NHI course for NSTM/FCM, Scour, LRFR load rating, and Ancillary Highway Structure inspection.
  • PennDOT CBSI certification.
