">- Maintain high-quality patient care by adhering to physician orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to our facility's protocols.
- Supervise nursing assistants and orderlies, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Accompany physicians during rounds, providing support as needed.
- Drape and assist patients during medical examinations and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments and document them accordingly, maintaining infection control measures.
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness and infection control regulations, as well as Standard/Universal Precautions.
- Conduct research related to quality nursing care as assigned.
- Assist with patient records, orders, and assessments for new admissions, as well as schedule annual physicals and ensure timely documentation.
Estimated Salary: $64,000 - $80,000 per year
">Requirements:">- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
- Able to supervise nursing assistants, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work and cooperate well with all nursing personnel, other departments, and have understanding, patience, and tact in working with patients, families, doctors, and others.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred. A strong understanding of geriatric nursing principles is essential.
