Speech Pathologist SY 24-25

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Baltimore City Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide speech and language services to students in our schools, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and other school staff on strategies for supporting students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with other professionals, including special education teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure that students receive comprehensive support
- Participate in IEP development and implementation, and provide input on students' educational plans
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
- Eligible for licensure in Speech Pathology from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to use technical computer applications, including the Internet and Microsoft Office
