Physician - Endocrinology Specialist - Grand Rapids, MI

Corewell Health, a leading healthcare system in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join our team. As a key member of our Diabetes and Endocrinology department, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner and ensure coverage of case load at all times.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Evaluate patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies or delegate to appropriate resources.
- Document in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
- Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
- Act as a patient/family advocate.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement, and other related activities.
- License - Michigan MD/DO.
- BE/BC Endocrinology Fellowship.
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Certification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
