Position Overview:

The Ambulatory Infusion Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a specialized healthcare setting. As a member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for administering prescribed therapies and ensuring the well-being of patients during their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Ambulatory Infusion Registered Nurse, your primary duties will include:
  • Executing nursing tasks in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Preparing and administering medications as per physician orders and facility guidelines.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting findings accurately.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and expected outcomes.
  • Monitoring patient responses to therapies and reporting any significant changes.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Five or more years of IV therapy experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Multi-state RN license is advantageous.
  • Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver is required.
