We offer both full-time and part-time positions for candidates who possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience. This role provides an excellent opportunity to escape the demanding pace of hospital environments, making it ideal for professionals seeking a more tailored patient care experience and the chance to work across various specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients effectively for radiological examinations.
- Ensure the safety of patients, yourself, and colleagues by adhering to established radiation protection protocols.
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images as requested by surgical teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following center and equipment guidelines.
- Utilize diverse radiological equipment (such as C-Arms and lithotripsy machines) in accordance with operational specifications.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Diagnostic Radiology issued by the State of New York.
- Current certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a radiology technician role.
- Preferred experience in ambulatory surgery centers.
- Familiarity with specialties such as Ophthalmology, Plastics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Management, OBGYN, Robotics, and Urology is advantageous.
