Position Overview

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will play a key role in patient care, focusing on eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish your days of practice and hours of operation to suit your needs.
  2. Control your patient schedule to ensure efficient use of time.
  3. Set your fee schedule, retaining 100% of exam/professional fees.
  4. Enjoy the flexibility to opt into equipment/instrumentation, administration, and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows) for a fair market value.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
  • Valid state optometry license.
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school.
  • Valid state ophthalmology license.
  • General Liability Certificate.
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
  • W-9.
