Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Electrician Helper to join our team at IES Residential. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will assist in the completion of house rough-ins, install trim, and perform various electrical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the completion of house rough-ins, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
  • Install trim, including plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches.
  • Carry materials and tools to job sites.
  • Clean work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a working relationship with lead-man and division manager to ensure effective communication and task completion.
  • Report progress and problems to management regularly and provide creative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Maintain knowledge of and enforce company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quickly correct any potential hazards or promptly report them to the responsible person.
  • Communicate effectively with others, including taking direction from lead-man.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check, and drug testing requirements.
  • Possess basic tools and be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform electrical work at heights.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform electrical work, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
