Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LPN Float Nurse to join our team at Bethany Lutheran Home. As a Float Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Care: Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and managing resident assessments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Leadership: Assist with supervising and mentoring other nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Participate in daily huddle meetings, assist with arranging transportation for residents, and complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Active LPN license in South Dakota.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, and knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance.
