Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Permanent Associate Attorney to enhance our dynamic legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in complex legal matters, contribute to our firm's success, and advance your legal expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in general liability defense litigation, along with strong legal research and writing skills, and must be admitted to the New York State Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a diverse range of general liability defense litigation cases.
2. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents and contracts with precision.
4. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
5. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies while managing your own caseload.
6. Staying informed about New York State laws, regulations, and legal practices.
7. Providing clear legal advice to clients, simplifying complex legal concepts.
8. Engaging in business development activities, including networking and client meetings.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New York State Bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, focusing on general liability defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in legal research and writing, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Strong litigation skills, with experience in courtroom presentations.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
7. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
