Job Title: Environmental Planner About the Role: HARDESTY & HANOVER is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join our team. As an Environmental Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the development of comprehensive plans, zoning analyses, and infrastructure decisions while addressing environmental, social, and economic effects. Responsibilities: * Prepare planning analyses, including those associated with environmental review, climate action, equity, and Environmental Justice * Collect and organize raw data, which may include research, interviews with government agencies, map reviews, field investigations * Prepare graphics and reports * Support traffic analyses * Support public involvement activities Requirements: * Master's degree in planning or related field * Five+ years of experience in environmental planning or related field * Knowledge of Federal and New York environmental policy, including environmental review, climate action, and Environmental Justice * Expertise in ecology, endangered/threatened species, cultural/historic resources, and wetlands a plus * Technical proficiency: MS Office, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
