Position Overview

As a key member of our Camera Technologies division, you will tackle significant challenges that demand innovative and creative solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the design of cutting-edge technology that enhances the camera experience across Apple's product lineup.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assessing advanced pixel technologies from leading global image sensor manufacturers.
  • Collaborating with international suppliers to innovate and develop new image sensors tailored for diverse applications.
  • Working alongside both internal and external teams to ensure comprehensive testing is conducted at every phase to validate performance.
  • Documenting findings and presenting results to engineering teams, fostering multi-functional collaboration to create next-generation camera products and features.

Key Qualifications
  • Experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, including characterization, bring-up, debugging, or wafer-level testing.
  • Familiarity with image sensor technology, performance metrics, and integration into camera systems.
  • Awareness of industry trends and technical challenges affecting sensor technology.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, sensor characterization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of teamwork and leadership.

Education & Experience
BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package, which is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees have the opportunity to participate in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs and may be eligible for restricted stock unit awards and discounts on Apple stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
