Job Summary

Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at our landfill location. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections of the landfill to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and front-end loaders, to move waste and maintain the landfill's layout
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including cleaning and maintaining the landfill's grounds and facilities
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of temporary wind fences as needed
  • Participate in general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
